Paul Chambers - UK - joke about blowing up airport

This is an interesting one.

Basically this UK guy Paul Chambers - make a quip about blowing up an airport on twitter.

Now he is being tried - for sending a menacing communication.

People such as (well mainly) Stephen Fry (English - writer - occasional actor - looks like he enjoys the odd pork pie) - have leaped to his defence - freedom of speech - plus "hey" he was only joking type stuff.

The larger issue - i.e. venting is made so dam easy - re: Twitter - you get a little angry - you vent...... next thing you are staying rent free... at her majesty's pleasure....

It's a dangerous world out there.....
