Twitter Use - Libya

Libya is famous - re: for the use of Twitter.


Namely as it is said (I read somewhere) that the revolutionary twitter talk is being drummed up by a relatively small band of users.


In some of the tweets - the tweeter - appears to be rather naively trying to direct NATO forces.


It is pretty easy to scan: http://placeblip.com/location/tripoli-libya/ to view the main proponents.


There is rapid re-tweeting of political slanting posts.

On of the re-tweeters is

MacKenzie Hamilton - who describes herself as:

Anti-genocide activist and feminist at Smith College majoring in Government and minoring in African Studies.

Other profiles re-tweeting - would be described as "concerned global" citizens.

 The actual - on the ground - tweeters - have to be sensibly a little vague - re: personal details and exact location.
